Where growth is for everyone.

WHO WE ARE

Learnability Grows  is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit enterprise rooted in one simple belief: meaningful work should be accessible to everyone.

We are building a fully accessible greenhouse, classroom, and workforce training center designed to cultivate plants, and opportunity. From specialty plants and seasonal flowers to nutrient-dense microgreens and locally grown produce, LG will operate as a high-quality agricultural business while intentionally employing at least 80% people with disabilities across all levels of operation.

  • Mission-Driven

Every decision at Learnability Grows is guided by our commitment to meaningful impact.

  • Human-Centered

We design supports around the strengths, goals, and independence of each individual.

  • Enterprise-Focused

Our systems are built to grow sustainably, allowing our mission to reach more people.

  • Therapy-Based

Our programs integrate therapeutic approaches to support personal growth and well-being.

WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

  • Our greenhouse will be built with universal accessibility at its foundation. It will feature adjustable-height growing tables, climate-controlled work zones, adaptive tools and equipment, and sensory-considerate environments. Integrated technology will support learning, productivity, and independence at every stage. Each design decision reflects our belief that accessibility is simply intelligent design.

  • The classroom will provide hands-on horticulture education that blends practical growing skills with foundational agricultural knowledge. Participants will learn plant care, propagation, seasonal production, safety practices, and the basics of operating a greenhouse business. Instruction will be experiential and accessible, designed to meet a wide range of learning styles and support needs.

  • The workforce training center will focus on real-world skill development and paid employment. Participants will be hired in their area of interest and build skills while working in active operations. Training will include agricultural production, inventory management, customer service, and business fundamentals. Learnability Grows is intentionally structured to create meaningful employment opportunities for Minnesotans with the highest support needs and to establish clear career pathways from entry-level cultivation roles to supervisory and management positions.
